Footwork is Lewis’s debut studio album and accompanying live show.

The album consists of original tunes written for various styles of English Step Dancing. Co-produced by Lewis and Alex Garden (The Drystones, Sheelanagig), it features the feet of Melanie Barber, Toby Bennett, Lynette Eldon, Lisa Sture, and Simon and Jo Harmer, all leading exponents of their regional styles. It has received acclaim from Living Tradition and Irish Music Magazines, and featured in Songlines Top Of The World in August 2022.

The live show brings together these varied traditions and the experiences of those who have lived and breathed them, all set to a backdrop of exquisite newly composed music. Performing alongside Lewis are dancers Simon Harmer and Toby Bennett, multi-instrumentalist Aaron Horlock, and narrator Georgia Lewis.

The first performances in September 2022 were a resounding success. Lewis is booking gigs in for Spring and Autumn 2023, as well as festival appearances.
